We focus on three units throughout the year; Drawing during the Autumn term, Painting in the Spring and other artistic techniques in the Summer. The children learn about 3 different artists each year to explore their talents in order to inspire their own. They go through a journey of practising the necessary techniques, exploring an artist, planning and then completing their final outcome in order to produce a piece of Art they can be proud of. Our intention is to give pupils the tools to become life-long inspired and talented artists.
